Schedule the install.

Once the loan is finalized, we schedule the install. Same Manual J-sized equipment from Daikin or Goodman. Same labor warranty.

Repay the lender.

The lender pays Tru72 for the install. You repay the lender according to your loan agreement. Statements, autopay, payoff, all on the lender's side.

Financing is for the work that's too big to write a check for in one sitting. Heat pumps, furnaces, full-system replacements, ductwork rebuilds, indoor air quality additions. Smaller service calls and the annual maintenance plan stay on the regular payment rail.

Every financeable scope still starts with the same diagnostic process: real measurements, a Manual J load calc on replacements, and a written itemized quote you keep regardless of whether you finance or pay direct.

What to know up front

The honest financing fine print.

  • Tru72 does not underwrite the loan. GoodLeap and Service Finance Company are the lenders. They set the interest rate, the term length, the approval decision, and all loan-related communications after the install.
  • Soft check first, hard check at acceptance. Pre-qualifying does not affect your credit score. Once you accept a final offer and proceed, the lender runs a hard credit check as part of finalizing the loan.
  • Quote first, finance second. Tru72 never quotes financing before quoting the work itself. The job size determines the loan size, not the other way around.
  • Billing disputes go to the lender. Once the loan is finalized, all statements, payment processing, refunds, and dispute resolution are handled by the lender. Tru72 is responsible for the work performed under our quote.
  • Rebates land before financing math. Energy Trust rebates filed at install reduce the invoice total. The loan amount is the post-rebate balance.
  • No prepayment penalty (from Tru72's side). Tru72 does not charge a prepayment penalty. Lender-side prepayment terms vary; see your loan agreement.

Who underwrites the financing?
Tru72 does not underwrite financing. Our two lender partners, GoodLeap and Service Finance Company, are the financial institutions. They set the loan term, the interest rate, and the approval decision. Once approved, you repay the lender directly per your loan agreement. Tru72 is paid by the lender after the install is complete.
Does pre-qualifying affect my credit score?
No. Pre-qualification with GoodLeap and Service Finance Company uses a soft credit check, which does not affect your credit score. Once you accept a final loan offer and proceed, a hard credit pull is run as part of finalizing the loan.
What can I finance?
Most major Tru72 work is finance-eligible: heat pumps, furnaces, central air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, package units, ductwork replacement, indoor air quality equipment (whole-home dehumidifiers, UV systems, fresh-air ventilation), and major repairs. Maintenance plan dues and the $72 diagnostic service-call fee are not financed; those are paid directly.
How long does the financing process take?
Pre-qualification is typically a few minutes from a smartphone or computer. Once you accept a loan offer, final approval is usually same-day. Tru72 schedules the install once the loan is finalized. The whole process from quote to install can complete in under a week if scheduling allows.
What if my financing application is declined?
If one lender declines, the other may still approve. We can also discuss alternatives: phased work (urgent repair now, replacement later), a smaller-scope system that matches budget, or paying directly. Tru72 does not receive your credit report or application details, only an approval or decline status.
